Buyer Purchase & Usage Policy

1. About this policy

This Buyer Policy explains your rights and responsibilities when you purchase any prompt, bundle or digital product from a seller on Promtify. It applies in addition to our Terms of Service, Refund Policy and Seller Policy. By creating an account, browsing listings or completing a checkout, you agree to be bound by this policy.

Promtify acts as a neutral marketplace operator. Sellers retain ownership of the prompts they publish and are responsible for the accuracy of every listing. Promtify is responsible for the integrity of the platform — checkout, payouts, dispute resolution, account safety and quality enforcement.

2. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of majority in your country, whichever is higher) to buy on Promtify. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe; any purchase made from your account is treated as authorised by you unless you can show clear evidence of compromise. One person should maintain one account — duplicate accounts created to abuse promotions, evade suspensions or harass sellers will be removed.

3. What you receive when you buy

When a payment is successfully captured, the full prompt text — including any system instructions, variables, negative prompts, recommended models, parameters and seller notes — becomes available in your dashboard under Orders. Access is permanent and tied to your account. You can re-open and copy the prompt as many times as you like for as long as the platform exists.

Some listings include extras such as example outputs, walkthroughs, supporting images, JSON parameter files or short video tutorials. These are delivered through the same Orders page and follow the same licence terms as the prompt itself.

Important: AI models generate different results every time — even with the exact same prompt. Temperature, seed settings, model updates and randomness all affect the output. The preview images and examples on a listing show what is possible, not a guarantee that you will get pixel-identical results every run. This is normal behaviour for generative AI and is not grounds for a refund.

4. AI Output Variability

All prompts sold on Promtify are designed for generative AI models (Midjourney, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.). By design, these models produce different outputs on every run, even when the prompt text, parameters and model version remain identical.

  • Randomness is a feature, not a bug. Slight differences in lighting, composition, pose, wording or style are expected and desirable.
  • Model updates change behaviour. When OpenAI, Midjourney or Stability AI release a new model version, the same prompt may produce visibly different results. Sellers cannot control this.
  • Previews are illustrative. The gallery images and sample outputs on a listing represent the creative range the prompt can achieve, not an exact promise of duplication.
  • Not a refund reason. Because variability is inherent to the technology, "I got a different image" or "the output changed after the model update" does not qualify for a refund under our Refund Policy.

5. Licence — what you are allowed to do

Each purchased prompt is licensed to you under a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual licence for personal and commercial use. Within that licence you may:

  • Use the prompt in your own creative, freelance, agency or business projects.
  • Run the prompt through any compatible AI model and use the generated outputs commercially.
  • Modify the prompt, combine it with your own ideas, or use it as a building block in a larger workflow.
  • Deliver outputs generated from the prompt to your own paying clients.
  • Reference the prompt internally in your team or company workspace (Notion, Slack, etc.).

6. What you are NOT allowed to do

The licence is for your use. It is not a permission to redistribute the prompt itself. Specifically, you may not:

  • Resell or relist the prompt, even with edits, on Promtify or on any other marketplace, website or social platform.
  • Share the raw prompt text publicly — in blog posts, YouTube screenshots, Discord servers, public Notion pages, GitHub repositories, AI prompt galleries, etc.
  • Bundle the prompt into a paid course, eBook, Gumroad product, template pack or paid newsletter.
  • Use the prompt or its outputs to produce content that is unlawful, defamatory, sexually explicit involving minors, deceptive deepfakes of real people, or that infringes someone else's intellectual property.
  • Use automated scrapers, browser extensions or extraction tools to download prompts in bulk.
  • Claim authorship of someone else's prompt or imply that you created it.
  • Use the prompt to train a generative model that will then sell or freely redistribute prompt-like outputs.

7. Payment, taxes and currency

All prices are displayed in your local currency where supported, otherwise in US dollars. The final amount charged includes any GST, VAT, sales tax or processor fees applicable to your country. Promtify accepts cards, UPI, popular wallets and bank-based methods through PCI-compliant payment processors. We never store full card numbers on our servers.

8. Refunds

Refunds are governed by the separate Refund Policy. In short: you may request a refund within 7 days if the prompt is materially different from the listing, broken, or duplicated from another seller. Refunds are not offered for change of mind, model behaviour changes outside the seller's control, or after the prompt has been used commercially. Always try in-app chat with the seller before opening a dispute — most issues are resolved in minutes.

9. Buyer–seller communication

Every purchase unlocks 30 days of in-app chat support with the seller. Sellers are required to reply in good faith and within a reasonable time. You are expected to be respectful in return. Threats, harassment, discriminatory language, demands for free additional prompts, or attempts to coerce a refund through abusive messages may result in suspension of your account.

Do not move conversations off-platform. WhatsApp / Telegram / email transactions outside Promtify are not protected by our refund and dispute system, and engaging in them removes Promtify's ability to help you.

10. Reviews

Verified buyers may leave one review per purchase. Reviews must be based on personal experience with the prompt and should describe what worked and what did not. Fake reviews, reviews left in exchange for compensation, and reviews used as leverage during a dispute are forbidden and will be removed. Sellers are not allowed to retaliate against honest negative reviews.

11. Reporting problems

If you believe a listing is a copy of another prompt, contains misleading previews, violates intellectual property, or is illegal, use the Report button on the listing page or email support@promtify.app. Reports are reviewed by the moderation team and confirmed violations lead to listing removal and seller suspension under the Seller Policy.

12. Violations and consequences

Breach of this Buyer Policy — particularly the no-resale and no-redistribution clauses — can result in any combination of the following, depending on severity: removal of the offending content from your account, forfeiture of pending refunds, permanent account suspension without further refund, IP and device-level bans, takedown notices sent to platforms where the prompt was redistributed, and legal action where the original seller chooses to pursue copyright remedies. Repeat or commercial-scale infringement is treated as the most serious category and is acted on without warning.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Buyer Policy as the marketplace evolves. The current version is always available at promtify.app/buyer-policy. Material changes are announced by email to registered users at least 7 days before they take effect and apply to purchases made after the effective date. Continued use of the platform after that date is treated as acceptance of the updated policy.
